Sorption Alone Isn’t Enough
If you want to prevent soil drought when growing plants, it’s pivotal to achieve a comprehensive solution. Absorption alone—the ability to retain water—is not sufficient to combat soil drought. The uniqueness of Mr.AQUA lies in its ability to meet the need for a comprehensive approach without using any chemical additives, even across all soil types and in challenging climatic conditions.
Better Germination and a Richer Root System
A key benefit of Mr.AQUA is its auxin effect, which involves the release of organic substances into the soil to stimulate the development of a deeper and richer root system during the germination phase. This complements the function of auxins produced by the plants themselves. Auxins are an important group of plant hormones that influence cell growth even in small concentrations. Thanks to Mr.AQUA, plants are healthier and much better equipped to withstand extreme conditions. With richer roots, they absorb nutrients and water from a larger area, and the microbial life around the more extensive root system is much more vibrant. This leads to better yields and higher quality produce.
Long Retention Without Waterlogging
Another important parameter of Mr.AQUA is to increase the ability of the soil to retain water for the plants much longer. However, it is not a matter of retaining as much water as possible, which would create the risk of unwanted waterlogging, but only the necessary amount. In the case of Mr.AQUA, at a level of about three times the weight of water at low dosage. That is, without unwanted water deposits, ideally in a homogeneous layer around the roots. Mr.AQUA does not disproportionately increase the maximum water capacity of the soil and meets this requirement.
At the same time, it has excellent retention parameters. At 20 °C at the root depth, Mr.AQUA retains water for at least 7 to 9 days, at 40 °C at the root depth (i.e. even higher surface temperature) for up to 48 hours. Mr.AQUA improves the water regime in the soil and thus becomes more comfortable for the plants.
University scientific tests have shown that when irrigated at the level of 30% of the maximum water capacity of the soil, the plants have almost 100% growth of green mass compared to the control sample thanks to Mr.AQUA.
Less Frequent Irrigation
Mr.AQUA changes irrigation conditions, slower watering with longer intervals between irrigation cycles. Within two hours, Mr.AQUA can absorb up to twice its weight in water, and the product itself already contains moisture.
Improving Fertility and Soil Structure
Another benefit of Mr.AQUA is its improvement of soil structure and the addition of a complex of organic substances, which are key to soil fertility. Most soils have lower organic matter content than desired. As plants grow, these substances are consumed by microorganisms in the soil. The availability of part of the organic complex to plants, especially during the first three years, is another unique benefit of Mr.AQUA.
Mr.AQUA can be used for all soil types, including clayey or sandy soils typical of the Sahara.
Simple Application
Mr.AQUA should be used during seeding or planting when it can be thoroughly mixed into the future root layer of the soil. For large areas, this can be done by plowing.
Long Lasting Effect
In the soil, Mr.AQUA acts as a hydrosorbent for at least 3 years. This period is sufficient for the successful rooting of shrubs and trees, as well as for lawns and other vegetation. For annual crops, and when applied by methods such as plowing, reapplication is needed only once every 3 years.
